This one technically took place several hours before the awards started. The two stars of this hit network show which starts airing again very soon had a work function at a hotel yesterday around noon. OK, well their bosses would have loved for them to be there but they weren’t actually required to be there. That isn’t what they told their respective spouses and spent an hour alone together in a room in the hotel they have used before. I wonder how they keep getting the same room?

The worst was her husband though. This guy was a piece of work. He kept telling her he would change and she would believe him and then she would catch him with someone and he would apologize and he finally told her it was all her fault that he was cheating and that she should go to therapy so he would stop cheating on her. She actually went to therapy and he kept cheating on her anyway and she finally gave up when she realized he was cheating on her with the nanny while she was at therapy.

Kelly Rutherford Accused Of Child Abduction
I think we could all probably see this one coming. When the two children of Kelly Rutherford and Daniel Giersch came to stay with Kelly for the summer, we probably all wondered if she would put them on the plane back in August. She didn’t. In a confusing statement Kelly released on Friday she said that because no court in the US is claiming jurisdiction to send her kids away that there is no court who has jurisdiction to order her to send them away so she is keeping them in the US. Early this morning, Giersch said in a statement through his attorney that Kelly is guilty of child abduction and that she and any people who are helping her face the legal consequences of child abduction.
This is a crazy case. Giersch, a German citizen was deported when a member of Kelly’s team gave false information to Homeland Security. They thought it would strengthen their case but it didn’t. Instead, a judge ordered that the kids reside with their father in Europe. Giersch paid for Rutherford to travel each time to Europe and gave her money for expenses to fly, but she has always tried to find a way to bring them back to the US. In every instance, the courts have either ruled they don’t have jurisdiction or have confirmed the previous rulings which ordered the kids to live in Europe.

‘Deadliest Catch’ Star Tony Lara Has Died
Tony Lara, who appeared on ‘Deadliest Catch,’ as captain of the Cornelia Marie was found dead in a home in Sturgis, SD. Authorities are waiting on an autopsy report to determine a cause of death. He was 50.

Christine Ouzounian Bill At Hotel Bel Air Was $12,000
I’m sure that whatever tabloid picked up the bill for the hotel stay of Christine Ouzounian at the Hotel Bel Air made their money back, but I’m not sure exactly how. She has not done that many exclusive photos. The only set I can think of are the ones in a bikini by the pool which were paid for by In Touch. The thing is there was no accompanying interview but maybe the photos alone sold enough copies of the magazine and photo rights to cover the $12K tab she ran up during her 5 night stay. A couple of things have come out in the past few days. There is detailed information about where she stayed, what she ate, where else she spent money in the hotel, but no payment information. If Ben Affleck was paying for it, someone would have said something by now. A pap agency did say they were tipped by the former nanny to be at her house for the Ben Affleck champagne photo and that the pap did not just get lucky and happen to be there. Yesterday, Christine posted a photo to social media of herself with the Alicia Keys song line, “She’s just a girl and she’s on fire.” Definitely no shame with this one.
