I normally would not really waste my time writing about yet another celebrity getting a DUI. I mean it is not often that Drake Bell makes the news or gets any kind of attention for anything other than being an a-hole so there is that compelling reason to write about it. The main reason though happened a little over a year ago. The last time Drake Bell had any kind of buzz about his name he was trying to promote his new record. The way Drake decided to do this was to go after Justin Bieber and get his fans all worked up which would hopefully lead to some buzz for Drake and a few more radio appearances where he could plug his record.
In a Twitter feud that endlessly dragged on and that no one cared about, Drake Bell started a petition to have Justin deported after his January 2014 DUI arrest.
As for Drake? Drake was pulled over after police caught him driving 55 mph in a 35 mph zone. Police also said that an officer spotted Drake swerving after making an abrupt stop at a red light. Once he was pulled over, the officer smelled alcohol coming from Drake’s car, which then led to Drake failing an on-site sobriety test that resulted in his arrest. He found a way to make his $20K bail and was back out on the streets 10 hours later.
