
Tony-winning actress and soap opera star Patricia Elliott has died. Elliott began her career on Broadway in the original production of Stephen Sondheim’s “A Little Night Music, playing Countess Charlotte Malcolm, a role that would earn her a best featured actress Tony in 1973.
She went on to enjoy years on the ABC soap One Life to Live, in which she played Renee Divine Buchanan from 1988 to 2011. She was 77.
